We are pleased to announce that we will be open for adoptions during the months of October and November from 12PM-3PM, Monday-Friday.

The Animal Rescue Site is awarding $100,000 in grants to eligible Petfinder member rescue organizations. The grand prize is a $25,000 grant. Just imagine how many animals we could help for $25,000!

The rescue organizations with the most votes will win. You can click to help animals at www.theanimalrescuesite.com, and then vote for your favorite participating shelter. (Almost Home, of course : )) Clicking and voting are free, with no registration required. You can vote once every day during the Challenge, which starts on September 29th.

2. Click on the purple button that says “Click Here to Give- its FREE”
3. You will then see a Thank you page with sponsors - At the top of this page is a box that says “With your help, your favorite shelter could win $25,000″ “Vote Now”
4. Click on the “Vote Now”
5. You will be on the Animal Rescue Site Shelter Challenge page
6. In the purple box, type Almost Home Animal Rescue and put in MI for the state
7. It will show Almost Home Animal Rescue  West Bloomfield, MI  with a little “vote” box in the lower right hand corner
8. Click on the “vote” box

During the summer months of July and August, Almost Home Shelter will be open for adoptions as follows:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 12:00PM-3:00PM
Wednesday: 3:30PM-7:30PM
Saturday: 1:30PM-5:30PM
Sunday: Closed

any other rescue current events. This time we are glad to announce that it will be regularly
updated by shelter volunteers, so you’ll be able to check in here for the latest announcements.
